Lunar Remastered Collection is an upcoming re-release of the classic PS1 games Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete and Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete which was released on April 18, 2025. It is planned for Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Windows (via Steam), Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. It will be produced by GungHo Online Entertainment and for the first time will also be released in French and German other than the Japanese and English languages.
Changes from the Original[]
Updated high-definition Graphics.
The visual text has been remastered to where the text is much clearer.
Remastered cutscenes.
The ability to switch the games between fullscreen and widescreen mode.
All-new English voice acting.
Option to switch between audio and subtitles language format.
New toggle feature to speed up gameplay, allowing for players to rush through their battles.
Improved Strategy system.
The ability to swap items between characters in Silver Star Story Complete. has been replaced with a newer system. This is where instead, similar to Eternal Blue Complete the healing items can be accessed on a single screen during battle for easier gameplay. The original version is still available but only as one of the options which allows players to switch between both styles.
The location changes for some of the Bromides by Working Designs for the original Silver Star Story Complete North American release have been removed, instead now found at their original locations from the Japanese release.
Much like with the newer games, all the non-Nintendo platforms include PlayStation Network Trophies or Achievement Points rewards by accomplishing certain feats the first time, including the PSN-exclusive Platinum Trophy which is only earned after winning every other trophy.
The ability to use subtitles in cutscenes, which can be turned on/off as an option.
